Heres a somewhat failed outfit post. I look like a chubby dork, but it's all I got. Better next time. Promise. maybe....
(oh please, I got up at 5.15 AM to pack, then caught a plane to RIGA at 8 something, and from RIGA after 2 hours of waiting time, I got on a plane to CPH. In Copenhagen we spent the day shopping supplies for my little brother and running errands. These pics are taken in the evening, I was freezing and tired, and I actually believe I have a legitimate excuse for looking like a hobo)
So, wearing my gray maxi dress from forever21, silver sandals from H&M, round sunnies from H&M, leather jacket and gray scarf from Provider, I was comfy and fairly warm.

but I like to think at least things can't get any worse

No hope
                      I don't want shelter
No calm
Nothing to keep me from the storm
And you can't hold me down
Cause I belong to the hurricane
It's going to blow this all away
I'm going out
I'm gonna drink myself to death
                         And in the crowd
I see you with someone else
I brace myself
Cause I know it's going to hurt
But I like to think at least things can't get any worse
I hope that you see me
Cause I'm staring at you
But when you look over
You look right through
Then you lean and kiss her on the head
And I never felt so alive
And so dead
I'm going out
I'm gonna drink myself to death
                         And in the crowd
I see you with someone else
I brace myself
Cause I know it's going to hurt
But I like to think at least things can't get any worse

I saw someone I didn't want to see today, and I saw him with someone I wanted to see even less. What a crappy day.

being home is like riding the worlds largest emotional roller coaster

Okay, so I guess crying has become somewhat of my ting now. Man it's tiering! I'm happy to be home and all but...yeah. Thank god for sunglasses is all I gotta say, and good I have a pair or two to choose from.
Tomorrow I'll post something nice, like stuff that I've enjoyed since I came home, or some dumb pics I took in H&Ms dressing room in Singapore.
Maybe.

I wish it would be august already.

the last hug

I don't want to go to bed coz I'm not going to like what I dream.

home at last

This calls for a woop woop!

My dad and brother picked me up from Helsinki airport early this Sunday morning. Two hours later I was home with my mom, my dog and my dad and brother, in our huge untidy house in Naantali, close to Turku; known as the asshole of Finland. I don't care. I'm home! We had breakfast and talked, I almost suffocated Sophie our dog cuddling her, and I gave the cheap painkillers I got as souvenirs to my parents. I am going to chill today, and take in the fact that our dog is not a stray and has no lice, I can walk outside without getting hit by a coconut, the shower does not smell like a sewage,  there are no heaps of garbage on the streets, I can drink tap water again, the supermarket is fully equipped with dairy products, I can buy something without having to bargain, I can go out not wearing sunscreen without roasting like a BBQ pig, I can watch TV again, and I can drive a car without hitting a chicken. The sensation of not sweating 24\7 is finally returning to me, I'm introducing my self to ryebread again, I am looking forward to exercising, and I'm almost glad to see our neighbors ugly ass house. Going to bed tonight is going to be weird. How can I fall asleep without the sound of waves, having geckos screaming in the ceiling, not have a fan spinning, having clean sheets and a proper blanket and pillow, and being the only one in the room? I will have to learn, coz guess what, I'm HOME!

P.S I wrote this on my MacBook. <3

Family picture taken 2 years ago.

i'm coming home

Materialist forever, there is no denying it.
I am ready to leave my hippie anklets and bracelets behind, toss out my ripped tees and ragged tops, wear makeup again, get mentaly prepared for abandoning the flipflops in exchange for closed shoes, and stylewise turn into my old self. I am so ready to get back to my full blown closet, my things, my friends and family, my macbook and our dog, in other words; get back to civilization! Words can not describe how much I'm looking forward to going home!
This trip has taught me something I already knew, I am a materialist and apparently very vein, and that's not gonna change anytime soon. I have travelled amongst hippies, seen many monks, walked amongst the poor, sometimes looking like one, given money to beggars, lived like a nomad, and always tried to find the cheapest way out. Now I'm done. The tiny growing hippie seed in my heart I had before this trip has vanished completely, I despise dreadlocks even more, and hiking boots outside a forest makes me nauseous. Many people tell me that traveling will make you realize how the western world is too materialistic and people are not able to enjoy life, to appreciate the small things that matter . Not me, nahaah, I'm going home to my stuff my things my belongings, because to me they matter, and believe me, I will enjoy every minute of it!
I am not saying that I will never travel again, coz I will. I love traveling more than anything, but next time is going to be out of my pink suitcase and not a backpack, I am done dragging my backpack around for more than a month. I will stay at a nice cockroach free hotel and enjoy proper breakfasts. But for now, I'm happy just going home. No, I'm extadic!

I'm in Singapore airport waiting for boarding, sitting at the same Starbucks where I wrote my first travel post 7 months ago. Time fucking flies, I can't believe 7 months has gone by. Incomprehensible. I have had the journey of my life, I loved it and I have plans to return to some of the places one day. I still have a lot to show you, and I hope to catch up soon with all the missed travel posts. As a matter of fact, I'm going home to a real computer, connected to the world wide web, which makes blogging much easier.

A big thanks to all the people who made this trip unforgettable, I will miss you, and I hope you are all doing fantastic out there. Hope to see you again some day. Much love!

Over and out.

ego tripping

Braided hair like a school girl and cross earring like a good christian. Though I never were any good in school nor was I a good christian. Oh well.
One of my last days walking around a city with no makeup.

last day in spore

Don't read this if you're in a bad mood. This is a negative post and will not help or enlighten your day in any way.

Im pissed of, sad and angry. I have had such a shitty day. Yesterday when I wrote no meltdowns yet, well, that totally went and blew up in my face... I need to get my aggressions out! So here are some things that has annoyed immensely today;
- I hate queues! I hate queuing for something for forever, and then rushing through, for then to still miss out on the one thing you wanted to see.
- I hate spending 39 dollars on something when you missed out anyways.
- I hate waiting for the bus, coz when you missed out on the thing you wanted to see and just want to leave, you also just missed the bus. Hence the 30 minutes of time to write my angry post.
- I hate not being home right now. I hate not being there for my mom.
- I hate putting on sunscreen. And I hate when finally arriving at the beach, the sun decides to disappear, and the clouds warn you of thunder.
- I hate having to answer ten thousand questions, from a skinny nosy Asian guy in a speedo, laying creepishly close to me on a somewhat deserted beach, when I'm CLEARLY not in a talkative mood.
- I hate being thirsty, sweaty and having to pee at the same time.
- I hate that my face is a mess, and whatever I do only makes it worse (rash, allergic reaction or whatever... Something's messed up!)
- I hate that my phone is fucking autocorrecting every fucking word into something else, and ignoring the obvious spelling mistakes, so it takes fucking forever to write this!
- I hate crying in public.
- I hate that someone stole stuff from my luggage, and now my new bag, my watch, my charger and my nightie is missing. I mean, WTF?!?!
- I hate staying in a dorm with no light and no privacy, on a day when you're feeling extremely moody and just want to be left by yourself. And I hate having the top bunk bed.
- I hate that this day started off so bad, that the ongoings at home determined the fate of an otherwise perfectly normal and fun day, and that it turned into a day where everything went wrong. I hate that this day was doomed from the beginning.
- I hate knowing that the first family gathering back home is a funeral.

Hopefully I feel more cheerful tomorrow.

bye buy simone

Yeah buddy! I'm in Singapore, where I arrived yesterday morning, after spending 26 hours on a bus through Thailand and Malaysia. I will have 3 nights in total, and on Saturday evening I will board a plain with the destination home.
I have Singapore all to my self, since my Simone chose to go to Cambodia instead, to extend her visa, so she can continue for another 3 weeks in the wet heat of the Asian summer. So now I'm left to my own fate, but luckily Singapore is a civilized country/city and I have not had any melt downs yet. YET. (They have H&M here, and Zara with summer sale, no time for meltdowns if ya know what I mean)

So The End with Simone and my travels, it's been a blast. Thanks for being there for me through various breakdowns, sorrows, joys, sicknesses, cravings, misunderstandings, enlightenments, and adventures. My mental health owes you it's sanity. Your my rock, my angel, my better half. Safe travels S! See ya in CPH <3 miss you already!

Here are some pics of us, taken with Simone's iPhone. Walk down memory lane. I will not cry again.

Damnit.

the jacket

If this jacket was to find its way into my closet, and be there when I come home, I'd simply die. The softest leather ever, cream color and studs make this the most beautiful jacket; the jacket of my dreams. Love love love. Almost walked out of Zara wearing it. Then I remembered that I was in Thailand and the jails here don't have a sugary reputation... Maybe a jacket won't be worth 15 years in jail... Or...?

(sorry for poor picture quality... iPhone takes blurry pics when you're in a rush...)
